What is it?
Intelligent Learning Content is about working smarter to get true
value from your learning content. It's about separating the content from its medium and formatting and storing it all in small modules in an XML-based content repository.
Why would I bother?
By creating and storing your content in this way, you can re-use and re-publish it in a variety of mediums quickly and easily. So individual pieces of content can be published to different mediums without the need for re-formatting and re-styling each time you need them. Publish to any of these mediums froma single-source: documents, PowerPoint slides, web pages, e-learning courses or pieces of mobile learning.
This saves time and money and enables content creators, designers and developers to produce learning materials far more efficiently and speedily than under normal circumstances.
It also makes updating a breeze. Got an important change to make? No more manually going through each document, slide, web page and online module where the change needs to be made. Simply make the change once in the content repository and it will ripple out to all instances of that content regardless of the medium.

What does it involve?
